Once you have chosen a casino theme for your event, it’s time to get to work. Here’s how to choose a casino party rental company and other valuable information about putting on your event.

You’ll want to make sure you choose a casino rental company that’s has a lot of experience. Most larger cities have many good companies that have produced hundreds, if not thousands of events. Many things can go wrong, and nothing counts like experience!

Be careful to hire a casino party vendor direct, rather through an agent. Some agents add fifty percent to your cost. I know of at least three or four cases where the agent doubled the price! One way to check is to ask the company if they own their own tables. If they don’t, choose another vendor.

Some vendors carry just table toppers, which are casino felts on plywood that are placed on tables. Stay away from these and get real tables. Also, inquire as to whether you may visit one of their events, if you have the time. It will help you to see how well they run their events.

Typically, the way a casino rental works is that your attendees start out with $20,000 in play money, and play at any table of their choice. At the end of the evening they’ll cash in their chips and unused play money for raffle tickets so they may win prizes. You may even choose to have an auction to give away your prizes.

There are three choices when hosting a casino party. The first choice is usually called full service. This is where the casino party vendor does everything – supplies the Pit Boss and Casino Dealers, casino tables and supplies, delivery, set-up, take-down, and runs the complete event. It’s the best option if you want to enjoy your party, but it’s also the most expensive.

Option number two is usually for charities, and may be called a Charity casino party. The casino vendor supplies all the gaming table, supplies, and a Pit Boss. You must furnish your own Casino Dealers. You’ll usually save about 30% with this option.

The third option is table rental only, which is usually reserved for smaller events with just a couple of tables. With this option you choose which tables you’d like to rent, and may pick them up or have them delivered. All the supplies, including play money is included.
